The Dr. Thomas Curran Fluoridation Award is given to an individual, group of individuals, or organizations for outstanding contributions towards the progress of maintaining or expanding fluoridation in New York State.
With the Dr. Elmer Green Award, the New York State Oral Health Coalition recognizes individuals who emulate Dr. Green's devotion to oral health promotion and who challenge traditional policy or public health practice to improve oral health in an innovative and effective manner.
